Entry/Associate Level Marketing

Hello, I’m Mikeala Suchocki, and my interest in fashion can be traced back to my childhood. Therefore, after completing my BBA in Marketing at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater it only made sense to enter the MSc International Fashion Marketing course at Coventry University in London. Here, I realized the need for more disruptive forces in the fashion industry to stimulate a positive impact on the environment and human rights.

In London I was exposed to a variety of positions in fashion consisting of assisting a Brooklyn based company while abroad, working backstage at London Fashion Week, consulting with various brands through coursework, and most significantly a three-month internship with a high-end fashion rental start-up. I have enjoyed work involving research and strategy implementation but consider myself to be flexible and can also offer a creative edge. I will provide examples of my work upon request.

I am seeking related full-time positions in Nashville beginning in October of this year. For additional information, please get in touch.

Technical Designer/Design Assistant/Seamstress

Hello, my name is Ashleigh Cain and I recently graduated summa cum laude from O'More College of Design with a major in fashion design. I received the Distinguished Designer Award for my senior thesis in which I used roadkill as an ethical fur source to create outerwear. At O'More I gained extensive knowledge in technical design, pattern making, construction, and so much more. My passion is sustainable design and at my time at O'More I completed two internships with the local businesses Ona Rex and ABLE. At Ona Rex I helped construct garments, cut patterns, worked in shipment, and assisted at photo shoots. With ABLE I interned in the product development department where I created tech packs, designed mood boards, researched sourcing, and preformed quality control. My time at O'More, Ona Rex, and ABLE has given me the skills to be an asset in many facets in the industry. I am searching for employment in the Nashville area as a technical designer, design assistant, and/or seamstress. Thank you so much!

Pattern Maker

I am an experienced pattern maker and have just relocated from NYC to Nashville. My experience includes jackets, gowns, tops/shirts, dresses, pants/denim, resort, and workwear. I specialize in all types of bespoke and custom fit garments, as well as working from standardized specs. Through my New York City development and production factory experience, I have a great understanding of all construction methods, cutting, costing, etc. I am available to develop patterns from inception through production and can connect with you digitizing, grading, and marking as well as several domestic factories. I utilize CAD Lectra or can work by hand, and can export in any file format, hard copies or sample markers.

If you need any pattern work or assistance with development, production preparation, factory connections, technical sketches or tech packs, please reach out with sketches or reference samples for a binding estimate. I'm happy to provide a list of current and past clients as well of examples of my work.

Thanks and hope to hear from you!

Product Developer/Designer/Consultant

I have 15 years’ experience as a product developer and designer, specializing in active wear, outerwear, kidswear, and currently, women’s wear. I have had the opportunity to work in many environments, from start-up brands to large corporate retailers. I have been lucky enough to travel within the US and Europe on trend trips, and all over Asia to work directly with factories and suppliers.
I currently design and consult for a larger American retailer, and am really enjoying the role of teacher.
My experience comes with a never-ending desire to learn and improve. I believe that’s the best way to keep current, and more importantly, stay humble.
Outside of the office I spend a lot of time outdoors. I’m an amateur triathlete and nature lover. My partner lives in Nashville and we love finding new places to hike and run around TN. It would also be incredible to live in a place where the weather warrants outdoor training and outdoor living all year-round!

Please contact me for my full resume, and feel free to ask any questions you may have.
