The second event in Lipscomb University's Fall Fashion Series, featuring evening wear designer Kevan Hall, will be held at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens on Thursday, Oct. 4. The event, hosted by Lipscomb's Department of Fashion and Design, Gus Mayor and Style Blueprint, will feature a talk by Hall on design, fashion week and running his own business. There will also be a showcase of some of his work. A reception will follow with an opportunity to ask questions and to interact with Hall.

A Dec. 13 event at the Gus Mayer store in Green Hills with the featured designer still to be determined.
