About Matt: Highly regarded in his field, Matt Hertz is an expert in e-commerce supply chain strategy, with a focus on fulfillment and distribution, outbound parcel logistics and packaging with over 10 years of experience with early stage startups. Matt was one of the earliest employees at Rent the Runway where he designed and managed their game changing reverse logistics operations through two capital raises. Following that he was the first employee at Birchbox where he lead and scaled the nascent business from 500 orders a month of self fulfillment to over 1M monthly orders. Most recently, Matt was VP of Business Partnerships at Shyp where he was responsible for managing carrier and e-commerce platform relationships. Over the past year Matt has consulted with and advised a number of leading e-commerce businesses including Barkbox, LOLA, Milk Bar, and Vinebox, and recently started a logistics services business now based in Nashville, TN.
