Nashville's first aerial dance company presents new work about overcoming obstacles and perceived limitations. FALL's Founder and Artistic Director, Rebekah Hampton Barger, directs and performs gravity-defying contemporary dance, and investigates her own professional journey with severe scoliosis. Visual artist, Mary Mooney, will paint large museum-grade acrylic "canvases" during FALL's performance, as a study of movement. Mooney's artworks will serve as a permanent record of this ephemeral moment and will be installed at OZ Arts. FALL's costumes will be designed by local Nashville fashion company Lily Guilder.
